In this video I’m going to discuss a common mistake that a lot of people make with their nutrition programs, which is combining the wrong foods together at the wrong times.
When you plan out your meals, each one should contain either:
PROTEIN + CARBOHYDRATE
Or
PROTEIN + FAT
You NEVER want to consume “High Carbs” and “High Fat” in the same meal as this will put your body in a hormonal state that is geared towards fat storage.
Just think of all the fattening “junk foods” that we try to stay away from such as: cake, cookies, donuts, chips, ice cream, etc. What do all of these foods have in common? Besides having very low nutrient value, they all contain high carbs and high fat.
You can create this same fat storing environment with “healthy foods” as well. And this is why some people still get fat despite the fact that they are eating all clean healthy foods.
