Total Fitness Bodybuilding Workout Of The Month!
Have you ever asked yourself:
– How many days per week should I workout?
– How many exercises should I do for each body part?
– How many sets and reps should I do?
– Should I lift heavy weights / low reps or light weights / high reps?
– How often should I train each body part?
– Etc. Etc. Etc…
Have you ever wished that someone would just take all the confusion out of your workouts, and outline a step-by-step plan that you can follow to make consistent strength and muscle gains?
Well, that’s exactly what the “Workout Of The Month” program all about. Each month I’m going to provide you with a new training program that you can follow to ensure you are on the right track for muscle building success!
In this workout program we’re going to get back to basics with a simple 3 day per week total body workout. But instead of doing the same workout 3 times in a row, we’re going to change up the exercises each time.
The first workout will focus on compound exercises working all the major movement patterns of the body.
The second workout will focus on isolation exercises working all the major movement patterns of the body.
And the third workout will focus on “filling in the gaps” so to speak and work areas that didn’t get much emphasis during the previous 2 workouts.
Over the course of the week you’ll work all your major muscle groups, and break it up gradually so you don’t experience excessive muscle soreness. Which makes this an ideal routine for guys who are looking to get back in shape after a layoff from the gym. Or anyone who wants to follow a program that is easy on the joints, tendons, and ligaments.
I recently took my 69 year old father through this exact workout program and we made a video series showing the entire program that you can watch on YouTube at:
